As if one birthday dinner and party weren't enough we celebrated Colin's birthday a third time with Tia and Via. No surprise, he picked Los Tios, aka Chips & Salsa for dinner. We also managed to celebrate another June birthday in between all the parties for Colin. We had cake and opened presents for Jim's birthday with the kids in the afternoon and then he and I celebrated sans kids that evening with drinks at our favorite bar, Off the Record then a six course tasting menu at Rasika. Did I mention the two bottles of champagne? Needless to say they had to roll us out the door we were so full but it was worth it!

Our wonderful friends, the Moore's are fantastic about giving us hand me downs from their son and this summer we scored with a dinosaur big boy bike! After countless back breaking "rides" pushing-holding Colin up I finally decided we needed training wheels. Colin was super excited to show off his new bike and rode around the bike shop show room till they very kindly pushed us out the door.  |
